The second Matt Cardona alwayz ready except that one time shirt was much funnier. The magic act was hilarious, and not only because Vision got drunk off a piece of gum. I bet you never thought you’d see those words in that order. Anyway, Vision’s repeated phrase, “Flourish!,” was awesome. I liked that we got to see Teyonah Parris, though not as adult Monica Rambeau (Captain Marvel), but rather as Geraldine. Wanda and Geraldine’s friendship was sweet, and her disorientation at being brought in to be the star of the disappearing act was funny, but I find myself wondering how Rambeau/Geraldine got there.
The twins also had some fun dialogue with Monica, as she saved Matt Cardona alwayz ready except that one time shirt from the S.W.O.R.D. agents by using her full powers. Monica’s small role was predictable, as there were several characters whose stories had to conclude, but they did get some setup in for Captain Marvel 2. Jimmy got to use his authority in order to escape Hayward’s clutches, and Darcy returned to Westview in a climactic way, incapacitating Hayward for the rest of the fight. Luckily, Wanda was able to make a hole in the Hex so as to let the Westview residents escape; unfortunately, this also let the S.W.O.R.D. agents in. Wanda, Vision, and the twins struck a pose highly reminiscent of The Incredibles while taking on Agatha.

Best Matt Cardona alwayz ready except that one time shirt
I did think that it was convenient that Hayward forced Monica, Darcy, and Jimmy off of the base just as they started to decipher the Matt Cardona alwayz ready except that one time shirt . It just adds fuel to the fire of me not liking him. They really did Darcy dirty like that, leaving her chained and, ultimately, inside the Hex. I think that Monica and Jimmy got away; I don’t think that Hayward and his posse did, though. I also think that Monica got her powers during her trips into the Hex, which she seems intent on continuing, possibly with Franklin the beekeeper’s help. I also did not like the commercial. It’s almost like they had eight good ideas and just decided to phone it in with this one. It served no real purpose other than to reinforce the Halloween theme and Wanda’s powers, two things that we did not need reinforced. Overall, though, the show is amazing, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
For me it’s just the Matt Cardona alwayz ready except that one time shirt and the predictability of horror movies that keep me from being immersed enough to actually get scared. That doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy them, but they typically have to have more substance to them than shock value and jump scares, otherwise I’m mostly just enjoying my wife freaking out. The Insidious series is a good example, while the writing the lore is well thought out and spans multiple movies. Conversely, the Saw movies did absolutely nothing for me, they were mostly just a contrite revenge plot fueled by sadistic Rube Goldberg machines. I like horror and suspense in video games though, like Amnesia, probably because of the engagement differences between passive and active media consumption. That said, absolutely fuck that one scene in Pulse where the person gets pulled into the wall by a bunch of arms, I had nightmares for a week after that.
